What this tool does
Generates LinkedIn post drafts in short, medium, or long format with opener variants. Uses your stance, topic, tone (clean, professional, edgy, funny), stance style (agree or contrarian), and optional audience to create scroll-stopping posts. Not AI-powered; uses templates and rules.
When to use it
- You have a take or opinion and want a post structure fast
- Testing different tones (professional vs edgy) for the same topic
- Need openers that fit your style (agree vs contrarian)
- Targeting a specific audience (e.g. engineering leaders, founders)
Inputs explained
- Your stance / take – The main point or opinion (e.g. remote work boosts productivity).
- Topic – The subject area (e.g. productivity).
- Length – Short, medium, or long. Affects paragraph count and line length.
- Tone – Clean, professional, edgy, or funny. Affects opener and CTA.
- Stance style – Agree (supportive) or contrarian (challenge the norm).
- Audience (optional) – Who you are writing for (e.g. engineering leaders, founders).
How to use it
- Enter your stance and topic. Choose length, tone, and stance style.
- Optionally add audience. Click Generate.
- Copy and edit for your voice. Use Regenerate for different openers.
Common mistakes
- Stance that is too vague so the post lacks punch
- Picking long format when your audience prefers short takes
- Using the output without editing (sounds generic)
Use it with AI
This tool is not AI-powered. You can use the results with an AI assistant in these ways:
- Paste the post and ask for 3 alternative openers in a different tone.
- Ask an AI to shorten the post to 1,300 characters or expand it with one more example.
- Use the AI Toolkit and Founder Ops AI Workflow for thought leadership content.
